One Day Photography Class with National Photo Training College

National Photo Training College is currently offering a series of interactive One Day Photography Classes for Beginners and Intermediate/Advanced photographers in Canberra.

These fun, engaging and social classes are ideal for those who want to take their photographs to the next level.

The Beginners DSLR 1 class meets in Canberra City and participants will learn to how to shoot landscape, nature and indoor settings in and around surrounding areas.

Under the guidance of a friendly accredited trainer and photographer, participants will get to experiment with ISO, capture modes, composition and how to use white balance to improve shots. Get you off AUTO and start taking better photos!

The practical class will be held in small numbers, ensuring each participant receives one-on-one attention and helpful expert advice.

Notes will be provided to each participant as well, so they can continue to learn and improve in their own time.

Bookings are essential: upcoming classes will be held on nominated days:

  • Friday 19 August, 10.00am-4.00pm

  • Sunday 21 August 9.15am-3.30pm

  • Friday 11 November 10.00am-4.00pm

  • Sunday 13 November 9.15am-3.30pm

    If you have already mastered the basics, you can participate in the DSLR 2 - Twilight class. Learn light metering, manual exposure and long exposure, night photography. Held at Canberra Blundells Cottage, you can enjoy a solid platform of learning and advanced technique before capturing the scene at night.

    The practical classes will be held in small numbers, ensuring each participant receives one-on-one attention and helpful expert advice.

    Bookings are essential: upcoming classes will be held on nominated days:

  • Saturday 20 August 3.00pm-6.30pm

  • Saturday 12 November 5.00pm-8.30pm

    Tripods are available at no cost on a share basis.

    Notes will be provided to each participant as well, so they can continue to learn and improve in their own time.

    Early bookings are advised as places are limited. The all inclusive cost for either class per person is $89 for the DSLR1 or $149 if attending the DSLR2.
