From Thursday, 25 July to Sunday, 28 July 2024, starting from 10 am to 4 am daily, CQ Contemporary Artists presents On the Edge, an exhibition that explores all possibilities. As part of Rockhampton River Festival 2024 , join this journey through the cutting edge of contemporary art, where every piece offers a unique experience.

Located at Galley 6, Ground Floor, Walter Reid Cultural Centre, corner of Derby Street and East Street, you are also invited to come to opening night on Friday, 26 July 2024, starting from 5.30 pm to 7.30 pm.

CQ Contemporary Artists has been active in Central Queensland for 40 years with a focus on contemporary art. Artists produce a range of art including drawings, paintings, prints and mosaics in a supportive, friendly network. The group regularly exhibit locally and regionally. CQ Contemporary Artists is based at Level 1, Room 4, Walter Reid Cultural Centre, and is open on Wednesdays, starting from 9 am to 12 pm.
