If you're looking for a haven of international gourmet food and European small goods, then is the place to visit. Filled with an extensive range of items sourced from countries all over the world, particularly Greece, you won't need to travel overseas to experience cultural food first-hand.

Conveniently located on Adam Street in Hindmarsh, just off of South Road, is a warehouse that sells and distributes goods such as Greek and European sweets, cookware, herbs that you can purchase by bulk, gourmet cheeses, hand-made dips prepared on site and deli meats, coffee, cleaning products, condiments, olive oil and more. The prices are also a great aspect of compared to the conventional "gourmet" stores or supermarkets. specialises in importing products from overseas so you can enjoy all of your favourite international foods at home, in Australia.

They also sell a variety of locally grown fresh produce at lower prices, such as tomatoes, cucumbers, zucchini, eggplant, capsicum, avocado, and in season fruits. are specifically known for acquiring popular veggies that are used for traditional European dishes. These include rare produce like okra and banana capsicums, and are used for unique dishes throughout diverse cultures.

My favourite part of is the deli section, which is filled with delicious meats, anchovies, sardines and a traditional preserved fish named Lakerda. It is extremely salty, but delicious. I often head here to purchase it.

In addition, my all time favourite childhood sweets are available including Mastiha, Vanillia, and Loukoumia. Vanillia is a Greek sweet, which is made from cornflour, glucose, sugar, and vanilla flavouring. It is of a thick and gooey texture and is placed in a cup of cold water. It's extremely delicious and amazing in summer. It's a childhood sweet that I would definitely recommend to anyone open to new cultural food experiences.

Loukoumia is basically Turkish Delight, and they're another favourite of mine. Rather sweet and intense in flavour, they're extremely popular between European cultures, particularly when guests visit a household.

If you're a tea lover, but don't want to pay ridiculous amounts for herbal infusions, sources some of their herbs from Greece, such as sage and chamomile. Herbs are a lot cheaper at Omega Foods, and it's worthwhile purchasing in bulk if you're a foodie and enjoy cooking like me.

Definitely visit to help support a South Australian business that promotes European brands and cultural foods. You won't regret it, in fact you may get a little carried away.
