I'm in Melbourne often enough - so why not write a bit about some places I've seen :)

Earlier this year, I found myself travelling through the mystic sub-continent of India. My passion for adventure and eating combined a fantastical manner as I indulged in the local cuisine of Indian culture.
Amid my travels I met a fellow Melburnian and instant friendship was formed on many foundations. We both shared a love for travel, food and exploring new places. Even better, we are both vegetarian.
So once our travels ended and we returned to reality, we knew it was necessary to stay in touch. So began dinner meetings in Melbourne city, centred around finding a decent Indian place to eat at.
A humble and modest abode, with two locations on Collins or Elizabeth street, this place exceeded all expectations. The restaurant itself is nothing special - a few tables and chairs but a homely atmosphere. In this regard it was very reminiscent of Indian restaurants. Nothing ostentatious, just a simple set-up more concerned with top customer service and delicious food. Both of which were provided here.
The service was fast and efficient with friendly staff available. The food was amazing. Simply amazing. The flavours, the aromas, the tasty selection on the serving plate took our taste-buds right back to India itself.
And here I must mention something that makes Om Vegetarian even more of a winner. This place is all-you-can-eat. For $6.50. Yes, that's right. Only $6.50.
