I'm a grandmother, a retired teacher, an avid reader who loves historical re-enactment, English Country Dance, writing and Op Shopping. My business www.StepIntoHistory.com.au is designed to help children experience history through school incursions.
But NO Picking Pockets
Would you like to introduce your children to musical theatre? Do you feel faint at the prices charged at QPAC?
The Answer? High school theatre productions.
Over the years I have seen quite a few local school productions and just one was cringe worthy. Most have been really good and some were spectacular.
With that in mind, consider yourself advised that "Oliver" is being presented by the students of John Paul College next month at Chandler Theatre.

John Paul College is a private, co-educational, ecumenical school at Daisy Hill. They provide a School of Performing Arts Programme which offers over 700 students from Prep to Year 12 the opportunity to participate in instrumental, vocal and dance lessons on a weekly basis. Also available is an extensive co-curricular program including bands, choirs, cheerleading, dance, drama and art groups.

I heard some of the main characters from Oliver being interviewed on radio this morning and they were most impressive.
Oliver Oliver. Never before has a boy asked for more.
I took 2 of my grandchildren to this tonight. They loved it. So did I. everything about it was great the singing, the acting, the music the sets and the props. Well done JPC. ( We are not involved with the school so there's no bias here)
