Here is another great place to add to my list of favourite chocolate cafes!
Oliver Brown in the Auburn Shopping Centre chocolate cafe specialising in Belgian chocolate. The cafe is a franchise; the first store was in Top Ryde shopping centre but it has now expanded across Sydney with cafes in Sydney CBD, Rhodes, Rouse Hill, Eastwood and Auburn.
I am lover of a good, creamy, hot chocolate on a chilly night, so this is the perfect place to cure my after-dinner sweet tooth. I decided to try something different to their original Belgian hot chocolates, so I went for the Belgian hot chocolate with crunchy balls. I was curious and intrigued by what the crunchy balls would be like. The verdict? I loved them! My friend likened them to Coco-pops, which I have to agree but must add, they are like very creamy and chocolatey Coco-pops which can only be a plus to smooth, velvety hot chocolate drink! I think I prefer the hot chocolate with the crunchy balls because it adds just a little more texture to the drink - definitely worth a try!
Next on the menu that is definitely worth sharing is the chocolate fondue! Served with both milk and dark melted chocolate, strawberries, bananas, banana bread, bread sticks, and marshmallows, this will definitely tickle anyone's chocolate fancy. The fruits are fresh and the chocolate is top quality. The only downside to this dish is that there wasn't enough for two.
Oliver Brown is a great trending chocolate cafe that is growing all over Sydney. The staff at the Auburn store are very friendly to chat to and give the place a very warm and homey vibe. Check out the closest franchise store near you and pay it a visit, you definitely won't regret it.
