Oliver Brown Belgian Chocolate Cafe is the latest addition to Rhodes Shopping Centre. Constantly buzzing with activity, this is one cafe that is extremely popular with shoppers as well as residents of Rhodes.
A neatly done up cafe, it has two seating areas one inside as an extension to the main serving area and the other, on the outside. Seating on the inside can get a little cramped as there isn't too much space and is mostly filled with customers.
The menu is well covered with something for everyone in it. We ordered two OB hot chocolate (milk and dark) served with marshmallows. Service was quite prompt and we weren't disappointed with our huge OB cups of hot chocolate. The richness of the chocolate shines all through the drink, however, I found the milk version a tad bit sweeter compared to the the dark hot chocolate.
If hot chocolate is not your cuppa, there is a wide variety to choice from in the beverages section such as OB Belgian mocha, OB iced chocolate, OB choco mojito and there is also a tea and coffee range to choose from. Oliver Brown also provides soy milk at an extra cost for those who prefer it.
Some of the popular items apart from the usual, would be the variety of fondue for one or two, with a wide choice of fruits. The waffles looked and smelt delicious and are served with a dollop of ice-cream and melted Belgian chocolate, making it a must try for the next visit.
