One of the Macedon Ranges best dining experiences is also one of its newest.

is the baby of Canadian chef Mark Renaud and his partner Brooke Emin.

Mark and Brooke came to the Macedon Ranges to work for another restaurateur and ended up buying and re-badging the operation, naming it Olive Jones after Mark's grandmother, a major influence in his passion for cooking.


"We quickly identified a buzz of excitement in the district," says Brooke. "Our aim is to develop Olive Jones into a centre for fine-dining in the Macedon Ranges and value-add to the already vibrant lifestyle we enjoy here".


Fully licensed, Olive Jones is all about matching the seasonal menu of free-range meats and sustainably resourced local produce with a carefully considered selection of local wines. Included in the menu is a fabulous range of pizza which, if you're pressed for time, can be made to take-away.

In the cooler months the dining room and well stocked bar provide a cosy retreat from the elements while a stunning courtyard makes for a fabulous al-fresco experience during warmer weather.

Located right in the heart of Macedon village, at the foot of Mount Macedon, Olive Jones is central to a host of local attractions. And you can be sure Mark, Brooke and their team will pull out all stops to ensure your visit to the region, and Olive Jones in particular, is a memorable and enjoyable one.
