If you spent any time in Frankston prior to 2013, you probably remember the not-so-spectacular Peninsula Centre, a large dull building once dubbed by comedian Barry Humphries as "the world's ugliest building." And he probably wasn't wrong!

For those who haven't visited since 2013, fear not. Now no longer an eye-sore, the building is now a sleek and modern residential complex housing one of the best cafes on the Peninsula. One of two ground level dining establishments, is the perfect retreat any time of the year for all of your brunch needs.

Pop into the cafe for an all-day breakfast and lunch menu, and enjoy either a coffee or a wine (or both!) Perfect for either the sweet or savoury tooth, with breakfast delights such as French Toast with cinnamon stewed apple or an Eggs Benedict for those wanting a classic breakfast meal. If you come in for lunch, I cannot recommend the Pulled Lamb Open Souvlaki enough! Everything is presented and plated so beautifully, it makes it perfect for all those #food pictures for your Instagram! But honestly, the great flavours and the customer service is really what makes you want to come back for more.

There is a kids menu and highchairs available for families, with enough space in most of the cafe for prams.
