Olio Cucina Italian Restaurant

If you're looking for somewhere new and interesting to eat, try Olio Cuciana et Trattoria in Block Place, Melbourne.

Tucked away inside one of Melbourne's hidden laneways, Olio is a quaint little Italian restaurant that epitomises everything Melbourne stands for: good food, good wine and excellent coffee. They offer a wonderful Mediterranean-style menu that includes the best wood-fired pizza in town (at least I think so).

The staff are all super friendly. They will make you feel like part of the family rather than just another customer. The warm and inviting atmosphere of Olio makes it the perfect place to kick back with a glass of wine (or maybe two or three) on a Friday night.

What makes the experience even better is the live band that plays every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night from 7:30pm.

Olio is open for breakfast and lunch seven days a week and they stay open until 11pm from Wednesday through to Sunday.
