O'Leary Walker Wines is the result of a collaboration between two experienced winemakers and lifelong friends who wanted to make great wine from the best grapes. David O'Leary and Nick Walker established the winery in 2000 and the Clare Valley cellar door opened for business in 2010. The contemporary glass, timber and ironstone building holds a commanding position on a hill in Leasingham. The architecture makes the most of the panoramic views which are ever-changing and are complemented by the food and wine on offer. The scenery can be enjoyed from the verandah, the picnic lawn or inside the open dining area.



Small batch wines strong on regional characteristics are a feature of O'Leary Walker Wines and to this end, grapes are sourced from districts as diverse as the Adelaide Hills, Barossa Valley and Coonawarra.



The menu is comprised of dishes that are made to share with suggested wine pairings. Wine by the glass is $8 and dietary concerns can be catered for. House made delicacies are a feature of the grazing platters as is produce from local suppliers. The duck pate was smooth, creamy and well flavoured and the truffled honey was an addictive taste sensation.
