If you are in the Cleveland area , take time to stop in at the .

It is well worth a stop. Local artists display a range of bright colourful artworks perfect for a Queensland home.

This month features an exhibition of the bold acrylics of Hilary Wakeling and the glassware and jewellery of Beatrice Lamont.

History buffs will enjoy learning about the life of the house.

The official School-master's residence until 1915, it was then sold to private individuals and was occupied by various tenants until the 1970s. The last family to occupy the house was the Rodgers family, whose photos of the house can be seen at the gallery. After that it was donated to the Redlands Shire Council and eventually in the late 1980s it was relocated and restored.

It still houses some old furniture related to the school or the time period. See the plea written by the principal in 1890 explaining that 4 rooms were insufficient for his family of 10 here

Entry is free and parking is off street. The gallery is easily accessed by wheelchair.
