The warm weather is back and the popular Old Perth Road Markets have again moved to an evening schedule for the summer months. The Twilight Markets continue to offer local produce, art and craft, food and entertainment, with fairy lights and the full moon adding to the festival atmosphere. From October right through until March on the 4th Saturday** of the month, Old Perth Road is the place to go to find a special gift, enjoy an alfresco meal or just a pleasant evening stroll.


The markets are proudly sponsored by the Rotary Club of the Swan Valley with proceeds supporting many community projects.

Every month the market features about 70 stalls selling clothing, candles, spices, jewellery, soaps and more. Most goods are locally designed and produced making the market an ideal place to find a unique gift. Details of some of the vendors can be found on the market Facebook page. Community organisations are also represented and local shops Daisy & Rowe , Tomorrow's Memories and others are usually open.


Although the emphasis is on quality local products, the markets are also a great spot for a casual dinner. In addition to the hawker stalls, the Bassendean Hotel and several local cafes have expanded alfresco areas. O2 Café , To the Woods and Red Poppy's are all open and offering a variety of meals. Live music adds to the fun.


**The Old Perth Road Markets are held at the intersection of Guildford Road and Old Perth Road, just across from the Bassendean Train Station.
