Don't we all enjoy a trip down memory lane! I came across this shop in Paddington as I was strolling and exploring one day. I walked in and was greeted by Simon who was only too happy to show me around this rather vast collection of items from bygone days which lots of shoppers find attractive.
Simon and Barbara have realised there is a market for old things and started collecting all kinds of memorabilia – they now have a collection they can certainly be proud of and it was a pleasure to be shown around the expansive shop. He showed me some select corners with special items like bobbins and milk bottles, and other old bottles, which take people back a long way.
The Boutique Centre which is located within the premises offers a wide range of home wares and furniture. There are contemporary pieces mixed in with some beautiful collectibles and antiques. There are fabulously coloured cushions, lamps and accessories for the artful household. There is so much on offer that you really need a little time to absorb it all and enjoy the experience.
They are the sole stockists for Autentico Velvet Chalk Paint and Autentico Vintage paint both requiring minimum preparation and ideal for painting walls, surfaces and table tops.
This might just be the place to pop into for a browse for Mother's day on the 8th of May. Some mums might enjoy the trip down memory lane, while others may opt for the more modern options that the shop has to offer. It would not be too hard to find just what you are looking for.
It is situated just at the start of Latrobe Terrace at Shop 1/83. There are chairs to sit down on outside if some of you grow weary. If you like sitting on them, some of them are for sale, and you can purchase them and take them home.
