Oktoberfest is back at the Queanbeyan Showgrounds, between 26th - 28th October. Presented by the Harmonie Club in Canberra, this German celebration will include authentic German beer, traditional German foods, music, dancing, a Strong Man competition, amusement rides for the kids and free bus services from Canberra City, Tuggeranong, Woden and Bungendore.

The event begins on Friday night (5pm - 11:30pm), with tickets costing $25 entry to get in. Friday night is the official tapping of the keg with music from the Oompa Band, traditional German dancing, The Beardmeister Competition and the opening of the Beer Hall.

Saturday runs between 11am - 11:30pm, with tickets costing $33 entry to get in. Enjoy amusement rides, competitions, music, entertainment and of course - beer!

Sunday runs between 11am - 5pm, with tickets costing $10 entry to get in. Sunday is Family and Market Day with food, markets, traditional German games, jumping castles, amusement rides, face painting and more.
