Oktoberfest is back at the Queanbeyan Showgrounds this weekend and it is even bigger and better than ever! The party starts on Friday night as they host the Rise Above - Capital Region Cancer Relief Charity night, with traditional German experiences, rides and DJ Havana headlining! Tickets are only $25 and includes entry into Oktoberfest. This event will be held between 5pm - 11pm.
Both Saturday and Sunday will be jam-packed full of German entertainment with authentic German beer, foods, music, dancing, Beardmeister competition, Strong Man competition, amusement rides and much more!
General admission tickets for Saturday costs $44 plus booking fee (for 11am - 11pm) and Sunday general admission costs $10 (for 11am - 5pm). Children under 18 have free entry, but must be with a guardian at all times and leave by 6pm.
There is a free bus service from Canberra City, Tuggeranong, Woden and Bungendore.
