Cheers to winning
Oktoberfest is in full swing but it's not too late to celebrate this German tradition at the Bavarian Bier Cafe, with lots of fun offers and competitions, including the chance to win a trip to the Munich Oktoberfest where it all began.
Grab your mates, family and friends and head to one of eight locations across Sydney to enjoy a 3-course German meal from a choice of 3 special Oktoberfest menus full of classic mouth-watering Bavarian fare.
But that's not all. Fill your belly with beer and great food in the following:-
The Ultimate Oktoberfest Sausage Challenge – Saturday 15 October
How many German sausages can you eat in 1 minute? Yes, only 1 minute. It's for serious sausage lovers and not your ordinary sausages either but a new haute sausage range that includes Smokey Bourbon BBQ Kielbasa, Pimenton Bratwurst and a couple of other sizzlers.
Can you beat the world record by a New Zealander in 2011who ate 8 sausages in a minute? Put your talent to the test as there's a $1000 dining voucher waiting if you can.
It's on between 12-2.30pm with 3 heats, 6 contestants in each heat. Enter all 3 heats and devour the most sausages in each heat and win a $500 bar tab. Everyone who enters the competition and gives it a go will get a little something.
Participating locations include Manly, Chatswood, Miranda and Parramatta. You must register online.
The Bier Lovers Oktoberfest Passport – up to end of October
This one's not so hard. Get your passport from friendly staff and purchase Oktoberfest biers for stickers. Five lots of 1 Litre steins will get you in with a chance to win a trip to Bavaria for Munich's Oktoberfest and it's easy because you don't have to drink them all in one visit.
Eligible beers as part of this offer are Lowenbrau Oktoberfest Bier, Paulaner Oktoberfest Bier, Hofbrau Oktoberfest Bier, Hacker-Pschorr Oktoberfest Bier and Spaten Oktoberfest Bier.
Once you've collected your 5 stickers in your passport, you will get a T-shirt advertising "I Survived Oktoberfest 2016". Make sure you fill in your details on the back of the passport to go in the draw for that amazing trip.
In addition, with each 1L stein, you receive a peel and reveal card and the chance to win an instant prize in the form of food and beer upgrades. This Uber Oktoberfest Jackpot has the odds in your favour with every 1 in 3 cards revealing a prize.
All 8 Sydney locations are participating. Full terms and conditions here.
$100 off your Bill – up to end of October
Groups of 10 or more at all Bavarian Bier Cafe locations during Oktoberfest will receive $100 off their total bill. Just mention the offer at the time of booking.

Join in the fun with the reward of a T-shirt and your schnitzel for free. Do it on your own or challenge your friends and wash it all down with a beer or two.
It's on at all Sydney locations. Book now to take the challenge and demolish as much as you can.
