Oktoberfest festivities in Melbourne start in September - join in and celebrate all things German during this festive season!

1. Oktoberfest in the Gardens, Birrarung Marr
Celebrate with over 7000 people at Oktoberfest in the Gardens! Featuring two massive beer halls serving a large selection of imported German beer, cider, wine and other beverages; authentic German food stalls; roving performers; silent disco; and entertainment and competitions across multiple stages.

Tickets from $59.90 (plus booking fee), includes entry into Oktoberfest in the Gardens, a free beverage of your choice, and a commemorative stein (560ml). Saturday October 22nd (2pm - 10pm) & Sunday October 23rd (12pm 9pm). Saturday tickets already sold out, don't delay on Sunday to be a part of this massive celebration.

2. Munich Brauhaus, 45 South Wharf Promenade, South Wharf
A traditional Bavarian bierhaus, Munich Brauhaus hosts a six-week Oktoberfest celebration, kicking off with a launch festival weekend starting on Friday September 16th! Throughout the festival month, join in or keg tapping, live Oom Pah Pah bands, Bavarian feasts featuring classics like the Pork Knuckle, the 1KG pure crumbed veal Schnitzel and the haute-sausages range, as well as Oktoberfest biers straight from Munich! Prizes to be won for best dressed, so get your lederhosen on!

3. Hofbrauhaus, 18-28 Market Lane, Melbourne
Living up to their slogan "Das Original und das Beste", Hofbrauhaus has been celebrating Oktoberfest in Melbourne since 1968! The party starts this year from Friday September 16th and runs through to October 9th, with live music, drink specials, keg tapping and stein carrying competitions, best dressed awards, and traditional Bavarian cuisine.
