The newly formed MUSAE - The Music Theatre Company of WA is proudly presenting their inaugural production this Spring - Rodgers & Hammerstein's Oklahoma!

This much loved musical centres on the love triangle between the charming cowboy, Curly, the brooding and dangerous farmhand Jud, and the wholesome feisty girl next door, Laurey.

The original Broadway production opened in 1943 and it continues to be performed all around the world to much acclaim.

An iconic love story, Oklahoma! also boasts the classic songs "Oh what a beautiful morning," and "Surrey with the fringe on top."

This forthcoming production marks the beginning of an exciting new era of music theatre in Western Australia. The cast includes renowned Perth actor Brendan Hanson (Les Miserables, Cats, Le Soiree), WA Opera singer Emma Petteremides (The Phantom of the Opera) and Ian Cross (Les Miserables and The Sound of Music).

Supported by a talented chorus of emerging WAAPA talent and the MUSAE Orchestra, Oklahoma will be conducted by Founder and Musical Director Ian Westrip OAM and is directed by Adam Mitchell. It is presented by permission of Origin Theatrical on behalf of R&H Theatricals.

Oklahoma! will play at The Regal Theatre for a strictly limited season from Thursday 17th to Saturday 26th of September, 2015. Tickets are now on sale through Ticketek and are priced from $49.95.
