The era-defining musical, Oklahoma, is coming to Adelaide in an immersive live performance. You'll get to experience the intricate love triangle between a cowboy, a farmhand, and Laurey, the farm girl on everyone's mind on an actual farmstead in the stunning Four Oaks Farm in the Adelaide Hills.

Set in a Western Indian Territory just after the turn of the century, Oklahoma uses the high-spirited rivalry between the local farmers and cowboys to provide a colourful background against which Curly, a handsome cowboy, and Laurey, a winsome farm girl, play out their love story. Although the road to true love never runs smooth, with these two headstrong romantics holding the reins, love's journey is as bumpy as a surrey ride down a country road.

It isn't only the local artists and up-and-coming talent that you have to look forward to. The story is set with a real windmill, a real surrey, and live horses! The event also encompasses all the favourites of a country fair, with some delicious local produce and crafts, and activities including pony rides, good ol' fashioned box social dancing, a merry-go-round and much more!

Oklahoma is sure to delight musical theatre die-hards as well as people new to the scene, capturing the imagination of the young and young at heart.
