I met Adie & Robyn at the grand opening of their first-ever bricks-and-mortar shop in Northbridge since their business start-up in 2014. They have the shop for at least 5 months - before the landlords decide the shop's fate.
In 2021, Oh Hey's founder, Adie, was awarded the Sir David Brand Young Achiever Medal in recognition of her outstanding contribution to the WA Tourism Industry. Adie is an enthusiastic advocate for Perth's tourism, hospitality, arts and promotes WA with gusto. I believe Adie is currently in Singapore at the moment promoting WA as a great tourist destination.
Their passionate, bubbly and enthusiastic personalities shone throughout the evening, and I loved the fact that they had a great relationship with other small businesses in the area, and also lots of local street artists, whose art was hanging in the shop with pride. Since starting in 2014, they have maintained a five-star rating across all platforms, and have built a beloved following among locals and visitors alike.
Oh Hey take pride in creating fun, and unforgettable walking tours designed for both locals and visitors, and I found there was such a great variety of tours suitable for both adults and families. The tours explore streets, laneways and public spaces showcasing art, history, bars and architecture sharing quirky stories and fun facts along the way.
There are a good variety of tours starting from just $25, and they also conduct private tours, and gin and cocktail tours as well. I am going to love doing the art tour, it is right up my alley. Check out their website for a tour that will suit you.
As an artist myself I loved the fact that these girls really care and have a great relationship with Perth's street artists, and they all had such a sense of pride and community for our wonderful city.
