Freelance writer from Brisbane exploring the city and surrounds to find the best coffee

Wellington Point is one of my favourite local getaways from the bustle of Brisbane city. It feels very different from the suburbs and the CBD alike.
Off the Wall Diner is one of the attractions I often visit on my Saturday morning trips down to the point. Located on the Esplanade, it has a 50's American diner feel with Hollywood and Rock n Roll art and memorabilia

Famous for their Mega Death Burger Challenge, the subject of both competitions and videos on Youtube and Vimeo, I prefer to take it a bit slower and get a Merlo coffee and a sweet treat. One of the best things about Off the Wall Diner is their sweet treat cabinet, filled with homey, old school faves, including Mars Bars slice, Chocolate Crackles and jelly cups, as well as cakes and more adult savoury options.
With both indoor and outdoor seating, regular tables and old school diner booths, there's comfortable seating for everyone and alfresco allows for furry friends and sandy feet from the beach.

I love Off the Wall Diner and was excited to go for another visit and write about it. I hope you visit and enjoy some coasty hospitality, great coffee and homemade snacks- or a fiery burger.
