This is so totally awesome! Have you seen Oddball the movie yet? Well, here's an amazing opportunity to experience this family-fun movie, in the great outdoors, under a starry, starry night! And, it's all happening at one of my most magical spots on the Sunshine Coast - outdoors at the Maroochy Regional Bushland Botanic Gardens.
Oddball is an Australian family movie, based on a true story, that was first released in 2015. The story is about a quirky chicken farmer, who enlists the help of his granddaughter, to assist with the training of his oh-so-mischievous dog, named Oddball. The idea is for Oddball to learn how to protect a penguin sanctuary from fox attacks, which will hopefully result in a family reunion as well as save their seaside town.
This is such a splendiferous way to spend a Friday evening with the whole family and at only $5 per family group, is cheap as chips too. Talking about 'chips' or 'crisps'Ö
Please bring your own picnic rug, chairs, bean bags, cushions, food and drinks to set up on the open lawn area - across from the lagoon - at the Botanic Gardens in Tanawha. Make sure you bring a bit of cash with too, as I hear tell that there's going to be fresh popcorn for sale. Make sure you get to the bushland cinema area early-ish, like 6.00pm, to get those front row 'seats', as the movie kicks off at about 6.30ish.
