If you're looking for something to entertain bored toddlers and preschoolers over the Easter holidays, bring them along to The Octonauts live stage show on at the Queen Street Mall from 6 April through to 10 April 2016.

The show is free and runs at 11am, 12pm and 1pm daily.

The Octonauts' Captain Barnacles will go on an undersea adventure to explore the world down under beneath the water. Help him Explore! Rescue! and Protect!

The family fun never ends when the kids become an Octo-cadet to help Captain Barnacles solve the mystery of the Great Octopod Rescue.

This is a free event and no bookings are required. While you're in the CBD, don't forget that Southbank has a great water play area for children just a short walk across the river, where you can picnic for free and spend the rest of the day playing in the water park.

If you want to avoid parking fees and catch public transport into the city, check out Translink for fares and timetables. Otherwise the Myer Centre or Wintergarden carparks are your closest parking to this event.
