Why not try a new sport for free

City of Charles Sturt's free school holiday sports program is back. All children aged between 3 and 17 years old are invited to try a new sport during the upcoming school holidays from the 2nd to the 13th of October 2017. They can choose from a range of different sports and recreational activities including surf life saving, dragon boating, callisthenics, canoeing, croquet, fencing, cheerleading, lawn bowls, golf and much more.
The program aims to increase the level of physical activity among children and teach them how to create a healthier lifestyle. It will also help boost their self-esteem and self-confidence.
You can register your child either by filling out a pdf form or online via the website. Registrations close on the 25th of September, so be quick to avoid disappointment.
