Join Rockhampton Museum of Art, 220 Quay Street Rockhamton, on Friday, 4 October 2024, starting from 10 am to 11 am, for Messy Morning program and spend some quality time nurturing your little ones while exploring and creating art in a relaxed, social setting - and you don't have to worry about the clean up!

Messy Mornings promotes sensory exploration, fosters imagination, enhances colour recognition, encourages experimentation and creates a positive attitude towards new experiences, all while creating lasting memories. Each session has been carefully planned to link children’s experiences and activities with the Early Years Learning Framework and the world around them. This allows the children the opportunity to wonder, discover and explore, giving them a sense of belonging.

Messy Mornings are tailored to suit a range of abilities. Mess about, bond, play and interact with your kids under the guidance of a qualified Artist Educator. The activities are designed to enrich children’s creativity and awareness of the visual world around them whilst also helping to develop fine motor skills.

Please note that you need to bring towel and dry change of clothes. Book here , $18 for one child and one adult. All art materials are supplied. Limited storage for prams is available.
