Dinner was well and truly served when we dined on The Palm. It is known [The Palm], as a luxurious venue, the most opulent and indulgent place to stay and enjoy your leisurely hours with Emirati fat cats. What makes it so sought-after is the impeccable service, high quality of food and plushy furnishings to feast your eyes on. Nothing is 'too much' on The Palm, and any request is granted with a seamless flourish.
With all that in mind you can't blame us for wanting to treat ourselves mid-week.
We decided to have dinner at The Ocean Club, and on a warm evening, with the sun setting in the background it was so lovely. Our table overlooked the private beach and infinity pool, it really was bliss.
From the freshly-baked olive bread, to the boozy boneless ribs with skinny sweet potatoes fries, it's the little things that count with this luxe venue.
With all the luxury amenities synonymous with The Palm, nevermind the beach club ,you might expect to pay the earth for dinner, but for a main each and four non-alcoholic drinks we paid 230 DHS - 80 DHS for each main, and 10 DHS per drink. Not bad for dinner on the world famous Palm.
Oceana Beach Club truly is a hot spot for a middle of the week dinner. It smells as good as it looks and the scent of 'holiday' is in the air; coconut and salt wafts your way, fresh and fragrant flavours drift over from the kitchen, and everything is served with a smile. Hello Oceana Beach Club.
