It seems the Bellarine Peninsula loves to associate its primary school fundraisers with healthy fruits. On the 4th March, Wallington Primary School held their annual Strawberry Fair, and now it's Ocean Grove Primary School's turn.
On Friday 9 March (the Friday of the Labour Day weekend), Ocean Grove Primary School will be holding their annual Apple Fair. Normally held during daylight hours, the school has decided to make a change and this year the Fair will be held between the hours of 4pm and 9:30pm - for their first ever Twilight Fair.
Visitors can expect plenty of delicious foods and drinks, as well as carnival rides, live music, and children's activities (including face painting). There will be trash-and-treasure stalls to browse through, and local produce available for purchase.

Enjoy an apple or three at the Fair
On the way to the Fair, why not stop by the Coles supermarket in Ocean Grove and check out the wonderful student artworks that adorn one of the walls inside? Their apple-themed posters are bright, cheerful, and the perfect advertisement for such a long-running (17 years!) and successful fundraiser.
