Ocean Grove Skate Park is located on Shell Road, just near the Bellarine Aquatic & Sports Centre and Shell Road Recreation Reserve. It is open from 8am until dusk, and offers a place for skaters of all ages to enjoy.
Very popular amongst the locals, the area contains a small street course and large skate bowl, surrounded by grass.
A small shelter is situated at the top of the park, and there is a rubbish bin and a water fountain.
There is a car park with a large number of spots available, however, if you're visiting while a sporting event is on, parking can be limited and you may need to park on one of the surrounding roads. If you're using public transport, the skate park is only a short walk from the bus stops on Shell Road.
There are plenty of car parking spaces, however they fill up quickly if there's a game on at the nearby sports oval.
The park guidelines state that protective gear must be worn at all times, and that children under the age of 12 must be under parental supervision.
Toilets: There are public toilets located at the nearby Shell Road Recreation Reserve.
Hungry or Thirsty? There is a water fountain located in the shelter area. Otherwise, the nearest place to grab a drink or bite to eat is the
Surfside Cafe, located inside the Bellarine Aquatic Centre. Here you can grab a variety of food and beverages, including hot chips, cookies, ice-creams or coffee.
Further down Shell Road, is the Ocean Grove Marketplace shopping centre, which has a Woolworths store plus hot food options, including fish and chips, fried chicken, Subway and KFC.
