We recently headed to the for lunch. What a beautiful hotel in a perfect location. You head to the outskirts of Ocean Grove, along Shell Road, and turn right into Bonnyvale Road. The is on a huge block of land with lots of parking spaces. It is a five minute walk away from the beach, which is just over the sand dunes.

We parked and went in and wow, this is a huge hotel. The dining room is very spacious. There is lots of room inside with plenty of space between the tables. Some hotels and restaurants don't leave much room between the tables and chairs.



There is a huge back yard area, with lots of tables and chairs, mostly under cover. There is a huge playground for the children. And for the young at heart, there are two trampolines built into the ground. I was tempted to jump on them but I restrained myself. Maybe next time.



Service was very efficient. We sat down at a table and our waiter came to our table and took our drink orders and gave us our menus. We all read through the menus and made our choices. The waiter came back and took our meal orders.



The menu choices included seafood, chicken, steaks, entrees, and more. The menu had gluten free food which was good as one of my friends is on a gluten free diet.

There were some beautiful paintings on the walls. I cannot remember the name of the artist. His paintings were amazing beach scenes. The whole hotel was very tastefully decorated and the place was very clean.

On the first Thursday of each month, join the at 10.45am for Morning Melodies. For $20.00 per person, be entertained, enjoy a delicious hot lunch, a light desert and a cup of tea or coffee from the "tea and coffee station".

Hold your Function at Ocean Grove Hotel

There are a range of indoor and outdoor spaces at which can be booked exclusively for your event or function. The staff can partition off areas for your function.

offers specialised catering with a range of food options from seated formal dining, to cocktail and finger food functions, depending on the event. The Hotel is able to cater for functions of up to 150 seated guests, or cocktail functions for up to 250 guests. You could even hold a childrens party in the playground area, with the famous trampolines which will keep the children entertained for hours.

The Public Bar

The Public Bar offers a genuine Pub feel. There is a long wooden bar, a pool table and doors that lead out to a beer garden. Imagine sitting in the beer garden on a warm summer day, with the ocean breeze cooling you down on hot days. On a cold day sit by the open fireplace and warm up.

There is a range of bar meals including parmigiana, steak, fish and chips, burgers and pizza. Make sure you head to the in summer or winter and enjoy a bar meal or a bistro meal.
