Bring your children along to take part in a fun new dance and visual arts workshop, entitled Ocean Commotion. Ocean Commotion will be held at the Don Russell Performing Arts Centre, located on Murdoch Road in Thornlie, from Monday 7th July to Friday 11th July, 2014, from 10am to 3pm each day.
Proudly brought to you by the City of Gosnells, and presented by the Buzz Dance Theatre, these fun dance workshops will combine a 'fun and funky' contemporary dance workshop, followed by an 'arty and crafty' visual arts workshop.
The sessions run daily, starting at 10am, until 12 noon, with a Dance and Movement Workshop run by Nicole Ward. There is a short lunch break between 12 noon and 12.30pm. Then from 12.30pm to 2.30pm children take part in the Creative Creatures Visual Arts Workshop with Diana Kelly. Between 2.45pm and 3pm is a great Show and Tell Time for parents to see what the children have been learning.
Both the dance workshops and visual arts workshops are linked, so it is advisable that children take both and stay for the whole day.
The Ocean Commotion Workshops are suitable for children aged seven to twelve years of age and places are limited, so make sure to book early to avoid disappointment.
It is important that children must be dropped off and picked up by a parent or an authorised person. Children must wear comfortable clothing and must also bring their along their own lunch, water and snacks.
