O'Briens Crossing Camp Site

Nestled deep within the Wombat State Forest north of Bacchus Marsh is a gorgeous riverside camp spot in Lerderderg Gorge, O'Brien's Crossing.

Complete with flushing loo's accessible sites and luscious surrounds this camp site is perfect for an overnight or short stay. There is roughly about 20 sites which extend down the riverside for about 100mt. All sites are all positioned on the pebble covered river bank.

You can embark on one of the many walking tracks that begin at O'Briens Crossing or just sit by the waters edge and relax.

Dogs are allowed, no drinking water, no fees, picnic tables, fireplaces,take your rubbish with you and only accessible during dry weather. Can get very busy during summer periods.

This free riverside campsite is easy to find just follow O'Brien's Road, which is actually just the main dirt road into the park signed by only the Lerderderg State Forest sign with O'Brien's Road scrawled in handwriting on it, right through until there is no mistaking you are there.
