O Cha Cha means Wow in Vietnamese
O Cha Cha. which means Wow, brings great Vietnamese food to Chermside. This lovely cafe style eatery focuses on great coffee in the morning, quick meals at lunch and delicious meals at dinner time. If you are dining-in you can enjoy the beautifully decorated surrounds and escape the traffic noise on Gympie Road in the courtyard out the back. For the those who are busy, you can grab takeaway or order home delivery.

This roomy restaurant on Gympie Road, not far from Hamilton Road, creates a little slice of Saigon in Brisbane's northern suburbs. The colourful walls are adorned with photos from Vietnam, with Vietnamese ceramics and other items to add to the friendly atmosphere.

If you are worried about the noise from the busy Gympie Road, you can choose to eat in the lovely courtyard out the back. With painted walls, colourful umbrellas and a herb garden, it is a great quiet spot to enjoy a quiet meal: something that is hard to find in the Chermside area.

O Cha Cha focuses on classic Vietnamese Street food. If there is one dish you should go in for, it is their Pho. This is the classic Vietnamese noodles, including beef and chicken. For lunch, you might try the Banh Mi, which is the Vietnamese style bread rolls, filled with classic ingredients that you would find on the street in Vietnam. There is also the ever-popular rice paper rolls.

Of course, there is a range of other foods to try, including the noodle and rice bowls as well as great Vietnamese dishes. One to definitely try here is the Vietnamese pancakes, stuffed with pork, prawns or mushrooms.

In morning most visitors head in the for the coffee. While not on the menu they also do Vietnamese style filtered coffee served with condensed milk. Desserts include a range of cakes, many flavours of gelato and Vietnamese desserts.

Overall, O Cha Cha is a great little restaurant which has carefully designed menu that caters for the breakfast, lunch and dinner crowds while also providing a cafe atmosphere and snacks for people who want to pop in for a cup of coffee. Also, it is great to see more Vietnamese restaurants turning up in the northern suburbs.
