At first, we booked a room on the 17th floor, which was too noisy for us and then we got a room on the 11th floor. The friendliness and helpfulness of the receptionists and service desk were impeccable. So we not only got another room, also our luggage was transported to the new room. It was very clean by American standards. Cleanliness in the bathroom and our room was perfect. Amenities in our room included LCD flat screen TV, air conditioning, clock radio and a kettle. There was also a desk with laptop connection in the room.

We could see at the top of the Empire State Building from our room. Our room was very big and room facilities were excellent. In addition to usual facilities such as double bed and wardrobe, there was also a large flat screen TV, air conditioning, safe and coffee maker. Our bathroom was not the biggest, but everything was available like toilet, sink, bathtub and hairdryer.
The hotel lobby is very modern. We particularly liked the machine, where you could drink coffee, tea and hot chocolate around the clock. Breakfast was exciting and a complimentary breakfast was offered. There is either a buffet breakfast or a continental breakfast available.

Our breakfast included a stock of toast, bagels, muffins, cereals, cornflakes, jam, cream cheese, eggs, pancakes, fruit and yoghurt. There were also drinks like coffee, tea, milk and juices.
Just a stone's throw away, we found numerous restaurants such as 230 Fifth Bar, Maui Tacos and Brooklyn Bagel.
