After its recent hotel opening inauguration last November 1, 2012, The Terrace Hotel will be celebrating its first New Year's Eve. Preparation to welcome 2013 in style is in order. On top of the list is an exclusive canapé menu using WA's exquisite produce and wines from Margaret River's iconic Moss Wood Winery to be created by Executive Chef Shannon Wilson.
If you haven't heard yet, Wilson was a private chef to Sir Richard Branson. Then there is the dynamic seven-piece jazz group that will blow you away with their sophisticated sounds of smooth jazz and awe-inspiring improvisations. This is the Jamie Oehlers' Blowfish who has top the jazz scenes here in Perth. Lastly, there is the count down to midnight which, at the strike of the clock, everyone will welcome 2013 with a toast of Champagne Delamotte. Sounds exciting?
In less than two months since its operation, The Terrace Hotel has already become an exemplary destination for dining, entertainment and style. This $20 million hotel is a refurbished heritage-listed St. George's House situated in the West End of Perth's CBD. The original building was built in 1892.
So, come to think of it. Although The Terrace Hotel is a rebirth of St. George's House, this new hotel will always be a reminder of what was once full of history and cultural significance. Yet in its revival celebrates a new way of life for the new generation. What a timely occasion to celebrate the new year.
Be part of the celebration. Book your entry ticket online. Tickets per person are $125. Beverage packages are available from 9pm to 12am. Doors will open from 8pm. A cocktail dress attire is requested for the occasion.
