Spectacular fireworks and DJ sets await at Glenelg, and Brighton, this New Year's Eve. From 6pm on Tuesday the 31st of December 2024, you can enjoy entertainment on the Glenelg foreshore before a firework display (synchronised to music) lights up the night sky at 9:30pm and again at midnight. At Brighton, entertainment will be simulcast from Glenelg between 6pm and 10pm with fireworks igniting at 9:30pm. Both events are free.

Most businesses on Glenelg's Jetty Road are set to open for food and beverages. You'll be able to dine in, grab takeaway or indulge in ice creams and desserts. Dinner bookings are essential to avoid any disappointment. Alternatively, you're welcome to bring your own food. However, please note that alcohol is not permitted.

Various road closures are expected, so taking advantage of public transport to/from the event is not a bad idea. Glenelg and Brighton Jetties will also be closed from 12pm. For more information, head to www.holdfast.sa.gov.au .
