Nutella donuts were Melbourne's first fling with Nutella, but, more recently, the decedent-dessert-loving city has been lovestruck by the Nuts About Tella food truck. And, it only takes one glance at the food truck's Nutella creations to see why.
They serve up Nutella slathered pizzas with a range of tasty toppings, Nutella donuts and Nutella ice cream creations, but it's the mobile dessert bar's Nutella burgers that have everyone drooling all the way to the front of the long queues.
These burgers straight from the dessert gods sandwich a generous spread of gorgeously oozing Nutella between grilled donut buns. The Tella Donut Burger has two donut buns, while the Leaning Tella of Pisa Donut Burger comprises a pile of a whopping four donut buns.
On World Nutella Day, Nuts About Tella will be providing these divine indelicate delicacies at its popup shop on Lygon Street in Brunswick East from midday to 10pm.
