A country weekend of local food, wine, music and theatre
Grab the family and escape the city to Numurkah for the weekend. Located on the Goulburn Valley Highway, this quaint rural town is best known for dairying, fruit production, mixed farming and grazing. Every October, it comes alive with a carnival-like celebration. The Numurkah Foodbowl Festival draws crowds of food, music and wine lovers and families with plenty of free and ticketed events across multiple venues in town over three days.
Highlights include the street parade, long slow brunch, the St. Georges Anglican Parish Hall High Tea, Melville St Market Day and live music and entertainment. You can also enjoy shopping along the main street, art exhibitions, children movies or have a picnic and a relaxing walk along the creek. Visit the website for more information and tickets.
