The 5th Peninsula Summer Music Festival presents a violin performance of an amorous kind. Patrick Savage, Principal First Violin of London's Royal Philharmonic Orchestra forms a duet with pianist Donald Nicholson to bring spectators an evening exploring songs inspired by love.

Performed in Main Ridge Estate's cellar door, the program will include Massenet's Meditation from Thais, Elgar's Salut d'amour, Kreisler's Liebeslied and works by Gershwin, Schubert and Wagner.

Enjoy a refreshing Main Ridge Estate wine with the artists on the verandah after the performance.

The Peninsula Music Festival is a week of musical performances accompanied by the finest food and wine and it spans across our stunning Peninsula. Running from the 3rd to the 9th of January 2012, there will be something for all tastes, incorporating both Australian and international artists. There will be plenty of old as well as new voices with opera, jazz, baroque and chamber music.
