Find precious stones just stone throw away from Katherine
NT Rare Rocks is a hidden gem in Katherine, literally! We found this place "accidently", when we are on the way to Lower Level Nature Reserve.
Some of collections at the entrance
NT Rare Rocks is a rock and gem shop and a manufacturer of stone products. Located approximately 3 km from BIG4 Katherine Holiday Park. If you head north in the direction of Darwin, go over the big bridge. About 600m up the road turn left into Zimin Drive. NT Rare rocks located about 1km down Zimin Drive on the left.
This place is worth to visit for its semi-precious stones like zircon, garnet and topaz, unique North Australian stone formations including fine quality Chalky Zebra Stone, as well as opals, gold nuggets and fossils. This place also provided finely crafted stone art. There are polished stones that transform into a coffee table with stone legs, vases, bookends, business card holders, drink coasters, pen holders, egg stands, candlestick holders. and more. All products made in Katherine.
Book end and candle holder
