The 2019 New South Wales ski season opens on the June long weekend with a full schedule of events in the mountains. Thredbo events include the GH Mumm Long Lunch, live music on 'Heineken Saturday' and kids snowman workshops and face painting. Perisher hosts the Peak Music Festival with ten stages across the resort while on the slopes, there are ski lessons and terrain park events. Both resorts also have fireworks planned.
