The 10th annual Seven Bridges Walk will be held on Sunday 25th October 2015.

This family-friendly event raise much needed funds for the Cancer Council NSW. Cancer Council NSW is the only organisation in Australia that works across every area of every cancer. The funds received from Seven Bridges Walk go towards cancer research, prevention and advocacy programs and support services.

The past nine years has seen a total of 63,000 walkers take part in the Seven Bridges Walk, raising over a remarkable $1.2million! In 2014 alone around 12,000 participants took part in Seven Bridges Walk, together raising over $612,000 for Cancer Council NSW.

To celebrate the 10th annual event, all participants will receive a FREE cap!

This family day out is set against the backdrop of the most beautiful harbours in the world - Sydney Harbour.

From 7am, participants will cross seven of Sydney's iconic bridges. Participants can start and finish where and when they want with FREE event buses travelling around the course!

Seven Bridges Walk is not only a great day out, it's also a way for people to lower their cancer risk. Research has shown that one-third of all cancers are preventable through a healthy lifestyle, including regular exercise.

As participants complete the course, they can stop at one of the seven villages where they can find information, register, receive first aid, access toilets and enjoy food, refreshments and entertainment.

The seven villages are located at:

  • Milsons Point Village - Burton Street, Corner of Alfred Street and Burton Street

  • Observatory Hill Village - Upper Fort Street, Millars Point

  • Pyrmont Village - Pyrmont Bay Park, Pirrama Rd, opposite Star City Casino

  • Rozelle Village - King George Park

  • Manning Street, near Rozelle Hospital

  • Hunters Hill Village - Hunters Hill Scout Hall, Durham Street, near the Church Street overpass on Burns Bay Road

  • Lane Cove Village - Blaxlands Corner - Central Park, William Edward Street and Kenneth Street
