Not Tonight – Southport's Newest and Coolest Little BarStep into Not Tonight and you might think you've been transported to one of those cool little laneway bars in Melbourne but alas you have not left the Gold Coast.

It's industrial chic meets vintage right in the heart of Southport, and with the light rail construction closing many of the popular bars, it is a much needed boost to the area.

Owners Julian and Aaron have designed much of the bar themselves and it has a great vibe with a pleasant outlook opposite the Courthouse Hotel and the historical Council Chambers.

The CoffeeBeing a self-claimed coffee snob, I just had to try their coffee. As with all good cafes, they don't go in for the chain coffee brands but use Toby's Estate. Toby Smith is a passionate Roaster, Barista and Coffee Artisan and Julian does this blend justice with his superb Barista skills - it was the perfect cup. Check out Toby's Estate here .

The MusicLive Music on Friday and Saturday nights but if you've ever had a longing to be a DJ they will let you choose a record, yes I'm talking vinyl here, from their box of tricks and pop it straight on the turntable, ahh the memories.

They are being very smart about their trading days due to the Light Rail and are currently opened Thursday to Saturday, but once the Light Rail starts operating and construction is put to rest, they will revisit their trading days.
