Chase away the winter blues at Norwood Market
Norwood Markets return this August with a great attraction for all the family to enjoy; a petting zoo.

The special August edition of the popular market (which is held every second Sunday of the month) will be held on Sunday, 11th August 2013, from 9am to 3pm, with the petting zoo open from 11am to 2pm.

Children are sure to love this attraction, which will feature some friendly baby farm animals from Old Macdonald's Travelling Farms. There will be lambs, piglets, guinea pigs, ducklings, baby chicks and more and children are welcome to pat and hand feed the animals.

After visiting the baby farm animals, families can escape the cold and head into the heated Hungarian Club to explore the popular Norwood Market stalls; here market goers can peruse a range of quality items, including handmade arts and craft, vintage fashion and accessories and antiques and bric-a-brac.

The Jellybeanstreet team will also be attending the August Nowwood Market event.

Some of the specialty stalls to look out for include the Himalayan salt lamps stall, the book swap stall, which supports The Indigenous Literacy Foundation and Jellybeanstreet, where your child's art can be turned into a true masterpiece!

There will also a dog wash on-site and Adelaide dog stall selling a range of quality pet products and accessories. Image appears courtesy of Norwood Market Facebook

There will also be a variety of food stalls to visit - look out for the homemade breads, preserves and sweet treats, as well as freshly prepared hot food - perfect for a leisurely Sunday lunch with the family.
