The Norwood Concert Hall is the best looking building in all of Norwood. It has had a recent makeover and looks set to shine for her 100th birthday celebrations in 2015. The hall has been a well known and well utilised venue for productions of the performing arts in South Australia for 100 years.



To celebrate its Centenary, the hall will host a series of special performances from 22 August to 6 September, to highlight the rich history of the venue over the past 100 years. The performances will be examples of the types of music that have been played there over the history of the venue.





The program is billed as Norwood Concert Hall 100 Year Anniversary 'Through the Ages' and will feature many different types of music and events. All of these styles of music have been staged at the Hall over the century.

The 40's & 50's with Crump Cake Orchestra

Crump Cake Orchestra presents a special one-off show celebrating the 40's & 50's dance hall music, with a special nine-piece ensemble accompanied by legendary Adelaide vocalist, Luke Thompson. Hear the sounds of Glen Miller, Bill Haley, Count Basie, Nat King Cole and more, as you dance the night away to the music that made this era one of the best. For Your Love: 60's British Rock Invasion

A fab tribute to the music of swinging 1960's. We all remember the British rock bands, such as The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, The Kinks, The Animals, The Hollies, Five, The Who and more. Tonight's concert and dance will have you bopping along with the hit songs of the 60's. Come dressed for the occasion – prizes will be awarded for the best dressed in 60's outfits.

This will be a great concert and show presented by a 12 piece band together with a stunning multimedia display to take you back to the 70's. Prizes will be awarded for the best 70's costume! Hope they have a disco ball.
