The October hike takes place at Norton Summit, just near the beautiful Morialta Conservation park. The 3 1/2 hour round trip will involve a hike in the stunning surroundings while you also learn about European wines and enjoy tastings of up to a dozen varieties.
Tom Robinson is one half of Head in the Clouds Wines, but he's also passionate about the outdoors. Having been involved in wine education, he brings years of knowledge to the wine hikes to make sure that you're suitably full of wine, new knowledge, and beautiful scenery.
Keep in mind that this is still a hike. While you won't need to be a professional athlete, there is still a moderate level of fitness required. Head in the Clouds rank it about a 3/5 on the difficulty scale.
If you can't make it to this hike, there will be more in the future. There's already a hike scheduled for November 2nd at Belair National Park and there are sure to be more organised down the line. For a unique event that brings together great wine's and Adelaide's beautiful landscapes consider booking yourself in for a wine hike.
