Bringing North & West Melbourne to life this Winter
The Northside Winter Festival is bringing the streets of North and West Melbourne to life this winter with an exciting line up of live music, walking tours, pop-up cinemas, theatre, comedy, retail markets, dining experiences and local trader events.
It's all kicking off on Thursday 27 July 2017 with the start of a captivating arts program involving light projections curated by local artists, leading in to ten days of special events hosted by some of North & West Melbourne's best restaurants, bars, retailers, galleries and historic venues.
An Official Festival Hub will operate from the Melbourne Lithuanian Club at 44 Errol Street with a selection of trader run workshops, demonstrations and giveaways, as well as a bar featuring unique cocktails, beer and wine curated by the some of the precinct's most popular venues. Launching on Saturday 29 July and opening each night until Saturday 5 August, the NWF Hub is the place to be if you want a taste of what's special about North & West Melbourne.
Visit the Northside Market when it pops up just off Raglan Street on Friday 4th and Saturday 5th August and help us celebrate on the final day at the NWF closing party, from 3pm at the Festival Hub.
This event is being introduced by the North & West Melbourne Precinct Association to showcase & celebrate the diverse gems for dining, shopping, arts & entertainment that make up the inner North of Melbourne. With generous support from our Major Sponsor City of Melbourne.
