Here are 10 Northside cafes that hold our tick of approval for truly quality coffee to soothe your soul.

1. Artie & Mai, 340 Sandgate Rd, Albion

This quaint Albion cafe and restaurant ticks all the right boxes with great coffee to boot! This consistently delicious breakfast spot transforms into a creative and social dining experience at night with a menu made for sharing, and local beers and a full wine and cocktail list on hand. It is the perfect breakfast location with a great menu and coffee options.

2. Let Minnow, 57 Park Ave, Clayfield

Located in Clayfield in the beautiful Kalinga precinct, Let Minnow Cafe & Bar offers the best of Brisbane's Coffee and Breakfast as well as a lunch menu that will have you coming back for more. It is the perfect spot for an early morning coffee and breakfast, lunchtime catch-ups or family outings. The perfect location for an early morning brew.

3. Piccolo Cafe, Shop 1/85 Kent Rd, Wooloowin

Piccolo Coffee Co is a specialty espresso bar and roaster on the corner of Kent Road and Rose Street at Wooloowin serving expertly brewed coffee including small batches and single origins, along with sweet and savoury treats. A great location for catching up with friends over a sumptuous hot latte.

4. Shambhala Espresso, 38 Shaw Rd, Wooloowin

This has to be one of the most consistent cafes in Brisbane, with the perfect coffee being poured every single time. Shambhala Espresso, a garden cafe located in Brisbane's Northside is a beautiful place of peace, tranquillity and happiness for all coffee lovers.

5. Yolk, Gasworks, 76 Skyring Terrace, Newstead

Yolk is famous for its delicious food with 5 Senses Coffee, freshly squeezed OJ and their mouth-watering bacon and egg rolls. These are hard to beat! Located at Gasworks, Newstead.

6. Bunker Coffee, 21 Railway Terrace, Milton

Now if you are looking for artisan coffee that is exceptionally well made, look no further than this hole-in-the-wall spot in a converted bomb shelter covered in vines. This is a spot for true coffee connoisseurs.

7. Hugs Cafe, Unit 2/27 Windorah St, Stafford

Oh my! This cafe has to be the absolute best place for pastries and coffee. All baked in house, their croissants, cruffins and delectable savoury treats are out of this world. Located in Stafford, this cafe is a must.

8. Soul Pantry, 31 Wolverhampton St, Stafford

Nestled away in a quiet industrial street that overlooks the Kedron Brook Bikeway, Soul Pantry Kitchen & Bar offers speciality coffee, fresh food, signature cocktails & more. The Soul Pantry is a concept store in the industrial pocket of Stafford. Entering the refurbished old shed, you will be amazed by a sustainable gift shop, a florist, a licensed cafe, a cheese shop and a great space for community events.

9. Kettle and tin, Paddington

Established in 2012, this cozy Queenslander cafe has become a Paddington institution. Their menu puts a playful twist on modern Australian classics with international inspirations, showcasing fresh, seasonal produce and, designed to be shared with good company. If you're looking for a great place for coffee and brunch, or a pre-game dinner and drinks, then you've found the right place.

10. Salt Coffee, 60A Doggett St, Newstead

And last but not least we have Salt Coffee. This cafe and roastery is on the corner of Doggett Street and Commercial Road. Their on-site roastery pours its own Julie Blend: a sweet, complex mix with beans from Brazil, Ethiopia and Guatemala. Coffee comes available either as espresso or pour-over. Single origins are also served. Just delicious!
