Have you ever wondered what the inside of a fully operational 24 hours a day 7 days a week Police Station looks like? On Saturday 16 April 2016, the Peter McAulay Centre, Vanderlin Road, Berrimah will open its doors to the public from 9 am to 3 pm.

You will get to watch firefighters in action as they put out a kitchen fire and bushfire along with road crash and car cutting simulations. See the Tactical Response Group and Attack Dog display, drug dog demonstration and the Bear Cat in operation. Then head into the Theatrette to hear all about the Haritos Murder Case, the Jonathan Stenberg manhunt and how road crashes affect everyone. Emergency Services will perform a rescue.

There will be a bouncy castle, face painting, flying fox, climbing wall, bicycle obstacle course and road safety along with tours through the new Communications Centre and you can even see the inside of a Watch House. How about a ride in a police car or climb all over a marine vessel?

Food and drink stalls will be available where you can purchase sustenance to make sure there is enough energy to have lots of fun. All activities are free of charge!
