The Northern Blues n Roots Club has a new home. After playing at the Northshore Tavern in Whitfords for the last three years, they have now moved to the Carine Glades Tavern in Duncraig.



You will see the club have their first gig at the Carine Glades Tavern on Thursday 4 August. Doors open at 7.00pm for a 7.30pm start. As a welcome to the club, entry will only be $10 per person. On the night will be performing Mike de Velta , The Chess Set and the house band On the Level .



The club last month celebrated their third birthday at The Northshore Tavern with a record crowd attending. Nearly everyone received a slice of cake for the milestone with music being provided by Midnight Sun duo and the Dodaddies.

The club intends to be performing on the first Thursday of every month at the new location.

The Club was originally formed by Derek Cromb, a local radio personality at Twin Cities Radio and Dave Gillam, who is the lead singer for On the Level band. They wanted to fill a void for blues music lovers who live in the northern suburbs.
